Analyst Jeff Pu Shares Early Specs for iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max, and Fold

Analyst Jeff Pu has released a spec sheet for Apple’s upcoming iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the long-rumored iPhone Fold, ahead of the company’s expected September launch, according to an media report.

Pu’s note, detailed by 9to5Mac, largely confirms previous rumors that Apple’s 2026 lineup may feature only three premium models. The iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max are expected to closely resemble their iPhone 17 Pro predecessors, with the main improvements likely centered on upgraded chipsets.

The iPhone Fold, which has been the subject of speculation for years, is suggested to adopt a book-style foldable design with an external display and Touch ID. However, analysts caution that its final design remains uncertain until Apple’s supply chain signals confirm production.

Pu also projected that Apple could see a slight market share increase despite a forecasted 4% decline in the overall smartphone market. iPhone shipments are expected to grow by about 2% to 250 million units, boosting Apple’s global share to roughly 21%.

While the report does not reveal any surprising details, it offers an early glimpse into Apple’s fall 2026 device lineup and potential product strategy, including hints at a possible shift to a twice-yearly release cycle with premium devices in the fall and budget models in the spring.
