Any Limited Aggression Will Be Treated as War: Iran Warns

Senior adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Ali Shamkhani, has declared Iran’s missile capability a red line, stating it cannot be included in any negotiations.

Addressing a ceremony in Tehran marking the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, Ali Shamkhani said in unequivocal terms that Iran’s missile program was non-negotiable. He warned that any form of limited aggression against Iran would be considered the start of a war.

Ali Shamkhani said Washington should abandon threats and instead pursue negotiations with seriousness. He emphasized that pressure and intimidation would not yield results.

It may be recalled that US President Donald Trump had warned a day earlier that in the event of failed negotiations, another naval fleet could be deployed to the region for possible military action against Iran.
