Bangladesh Air Chief Meets Pakistan’s Army Chief to Strengthen Defense Ties
Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, Chief of Air Staff of the Bangladesh Air Force, met with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.
The two leaders discussed issues of mutual interest, regional security developments, and ways to expand bilateral defense and military cooperation. Both sides emphasized the importance of deepening professional collaboration, including training exchanges and stronger institutional links between the armed forces of Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Air Chief Marshal Khan praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged their role in promoting regional peace and stability. Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to building long-term and meaningful defense relations with Bangladesh.
The meeting concluded on a note reflecting the longstanding and cordial ties between the two countries.
