Beijing Opposes Force, Backs Iran Stability
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China said Beijing is closely monitoring the situation involving Iran, emphasizing support for resolving disputes through political and diplomatic means.
Speaking at a regular briefing, the spokesperson stated that China backs efforts to address issues through dialogue and diplomacy and opposes threats or the use of force in international affairs. The official added that China supports the Iranian government and people in safeguarding their legitimate rights, interests, and national stability.
China Urges Diplomacy Amid Iran Nuclear Developments
The spokesperson urged all parties to exercise restraint and resolve differences through talks, reiterating that China is prepared to play a constructive role as a responsible country.

The remarks come amid renewed diplomatic activity surrounding Iran’s nuclear program. An Arab diplomat revealed that Tehran has presented a proposed draft agreement to the United States.
Iran Proposes Enrichment Reduction in Draft Deal
In comments to Israeli media, the diplomat said the proposed Iranian draft includes reducing uranium enrichment levels from 60 percent to 3.6 percent. According to the same source, Iran has also offered to suspend uranium enrichment for seven years in the future.

Meanwhile, Israeli media reported that Washington is not currently demanding zero uranium enrichment. Instead, the United States is seeking the transfer of Iran’s existing stockpile of highly enriched uranium to a location outside the country.

However, the reports said Iran has refused to move its highly enriched uranium stockpile abroad.
