Wang said the agenda for high‑level exchanges with the United States is on the table and that both sides need to make thorough preparations to create a conducive environment to manage existing differences, without providing further specifics.

The comments come amid heightened geopolitical tensions, including the ongoing war involving the United States and Israel against Iran. Wang urged an immediate halt to military operations in Iran, saying the use of force is not a way to resolve issues. He reiterated Beijing’s previous condemnations and expressions of concern.
