CM Maryam Nawaz Declares Rajanpur and Kacha Cleared of Criminals

Lahore : Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced that the Rajanpur and Kacha regions have been completely cleared of criminals.

Addressing a meeting on the operation in Kacha, Maryam Nawaz said criminals had created a “state within a state,” instilling fear in local communities and abducting people through honey traps. She explained that a decisive operation was carried out in Rajanpur and the Kacha areas of Rahim Yar Khan, with support from the Pakistan Army, police, and other law enforcement agencies.

The Chief Minister highlighted that advanced technology was used during the operation, including drone cameras and modern surveillance systems to track criminals’ movements. She also thanked the Sindh Police and the Government of Sindh for their full cooperation.

Maryam Nawaz confirmed that the operation concluded without any casualties, transforming areas of fear into regions under full law enforcement control. More than 500 criminals surrendered during the operation. She emphasized that there will be no tolerance for those who challenge the rule of law, and criminals now have no place to hide in the Kacha region.
