CM Sarfraz Bugti Says No One Has Right to Take Up Arms

Quetta : Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti said that no one has the right to take up arms and engage in killing and bloodshed. He made the remarks while speaking on the floor of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly.

The chief minister said that for the past 30 years, an organized propaganda campaign had been carried out against the state. He questioned how terrorism could be linked to deprivation, stating that militants were attempting to fracture the country by promoting a so-called Baloch narrative.

Sarfraz Bugti said terrorists had no connection with religion, adding that extremist elements merely use religion as a cover for their actions. He further emphasized that unbalanced development could not be justified as a reason for terrorism.

The chief minister called on those involved in unrest to abandon chaos and engage in dialogue on various issues. He said the state was prepared for talks, but not under the threat of guns, stressing that terrorism would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
