ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held separate meetings on Sunday with the foreign minister of Bahrain and the ambassador of China to Pakistan to discuss the rapidly evolving regional situation.

In a meeting with H.E. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the two leaders reviewed the unfolding regional developments and exchanged views on the broader security environment.

During the discussion, Dar underscored the need for efforts aimed at de-escalation and emphasized the importance of advancing peace and stability across the region. Both sides agreed to remain in close contact as the situation continues to evolve.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Office of the Spokesperson), the deputy prime minister later received H.E. Jiang Zaidong, Ambassador of China to Pakistan, at his office in Islamabad.
