Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Affirms Pakistan Armed Forces Readiness at Steadfast Resolve Exercise

Khairpur Tamewali/Bahawalpur : Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defense Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, has reaffirmed Pakistan Armed Forces’ full preparedness to defend the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity against all threats.
Addressing troops after witnessing the high-intensity Field Exercise “Steadfast Resolve” at Khairpur Tamewali, Field Marshal Munir emphasized the importance of maintaining optimum readiness to meet the demands of future battlefields and evolving security challenges. He highlighted that the character of war is undergoing significant transformation, driven by rapid technological advancements, requiring mental agility and adaptation at all levels of command.

“Technological manoeuvres will increasingly replace physical manoeuvres, fundamentally altering the conduct of offensive and defensive operations,” he said. He stressed that Pakistan Armed Forces are rapidly embracing and absorbing technology, with innovation, indigenization, and adaptation forming the cornerstone of this transformation.
In addition to observing the exercise, Field Marshal Munir inaugurated the ROHI eSkills Learning Hub (STP), aimed at fostering digital skills among students from Southern Punjab and across Pakistan. He also inaugurated the APS Abbasia Campus, underscoring the Pakistan Army’s commitment to quality education and character building.

During his visit to the EME Regional Workshop, the Chief of Army Staff was briefed on maintenance regimes designed to sustain modern military platforms through advanced technology and indigenization.
Upon his arrival at Bahawalpur Garrison, Field Marshal Munir was received by the Commander of Bahawalpur Corps. He laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada and offered Fateha, paying tribute to the supreme sacrifices of Pakistan’s martyrs.
