Sources indicate that since the Asia Cup final, national team head coach Mike Hesson has not favored Rauf’s inclusion, which led to his omission from the potential World Cup lineup.

Haris Rauf has not played any T20 International matches for Pakistan since the Asia Cup and is currently participating in Australia’s Big Bash League.
