HHGTL Marks Milestone in Pakistan Energy Sector with OGDCL Project Completion
Hong Kong HuiHua Global Corporation Ltd (HHGTL), a wholly owned subsidiary of China Oil HBP Science and Technology Ltd (HBP), has successfully completed the Dakhni Front-End Compression Project for Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), representing a key milestone in Pakistan’s upstream energy sector.
Executed in collaboration with MHAA Corporation and in joint venture with Etimaad Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd., with ILF as the engineering consultant, the EPCC project was delivered on schedule and fully compliant with OGDCL’s technical and contractual requirements.
The project upgrades production infrastructure at one of Pakistan’s major natural gas fields. The newly installed compression facilities are designed to optimize reservoir performance up to 28 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD), counteract natural production decline, and enhance gas recovery efficiency. By strengthening field deliverability and ensuring sustained output, the initiative directly supports increased production capacity and long-term operational reliability.
The successful completion highlights HHGTL’s expertise in managing complex front-end compression projects with precision and speed, maintaining strict adherence to international HSE standards, technical quality, and operational integrity.
Building on this achievement, HHGTL/HBP–MHAA, in joint venture with AJCL, is now executing the OGDCL/ENAR Compression Project, aiming to replicate the same high standards of technical excellence and efficiency demonstrated at Dakhni.
HHGTL’s track record also includes the 98 MMSCFD LPG Processing Plant at Nashpa Field, completed in 2018, reflecting the company’s technical strength, reliability, and commitment to industry-leading standards.
The collaboration between OGDCL, ILF, and the HHGTL/HBP–MHAA–Etimaad Joint Venture underscores a shared commitment to maximizing domestic hydrocarbon resources and advancing Pakistan’s energy security. Beyond improving production efficiency, the project highlights the importance of strategic partnerships in delivering high-impact upstream solutions.
