Information Minister Atta Tarar Rejects Reports of Deal With PTI
Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has rejected reports suggesting a deal with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Speaking to the media in London, the information minister said there was neither any deal nor any concession, describing such claims as speculation.
Atta Tarar said that social media was used to create sensationalism regarding the eye condition of PTI founder Imran Khan. He said it was the government’s responsibility to provide healthcare, which had been done, adding that Imran Khan’s health had improved and the issue had been resolved.
He said medical experts had examined Imran Khan’s health issues and that leaders of his party had also been briefed in this regard.
The federal information minister made it clear to the opposition that Imran Khan’s health should not be politicized.

Meanwhile, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi said the government had not accepted any demands related to the health of the PTI founder.
Sohail Afridi said that a medical report was not among their demands, adding that their demands were limited to allowing the PTI founder to meet his personal doctor and family. He said it was the constitutional and legal right of the PTI founder to receive treatment from a personal physician.
He questioned what the government was trying to hide by denying permission for a personal doctor.
