Iran Rejects US Claims Over Missile Program
TEHRAN : Iran has strongly rejected U.S. allegations regarding its missile and nuclear programs, describing the claims as false and politically motivated.
In a statement posted on social media, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said accusations about Iran’s nuclear activities and ballistic missile development were “nothing but big lies.” He dismissed the claims as unfounded and lacking credible evidence.
Baghaei also rejected U.S. allegations concerning the number of casualties during protest incidents in January. He stated that assertions made by American officials about fatalities were inaccurate and had no basis in fact.
Foreign Ministry Refutes Nuclear Program Accusations
The remarks came after comments by U.S. President Donald Trump, who said Iran’s missile capabilities pose a threat to European countries and American military bases in the region. Trump further claimed that Tehran is developing missiles that could eventually reach the United States.
