Ishaq Dar, Egyptian FM Discuss Regional Developments

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty to exchange views on recent regional developments, including the situation between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Pakistan Terms Response Measured but Decisive

During the discussion, the deputy prime minister underlined that Pakistan’s response to what he described as unprovoked aggression has been measured but decisive. He said the country’s armed forces carried out successful operations under Operation Ghazb lil Haq to safeguard Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Both leaders emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region and agreed to remain in contact regarding evolving developments.
