Ishaq Dar, Turkish FM Discuss Terror Attack and Bilateral Ties

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Saturday held a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, during which the Turkish leadership conveyed condolences over the deadly mosque bombing in Islamabad.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan expressed heartfelt condolences on behalf of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, himself, and the brotherly people of Türkiye over the tragic loss of precious lives in the attack. Senator Ishaq Dar thanked the Turkish leadership for their solidarity and reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering resolve to combat terrorism and ensure the protection of its civilians.

During the call, the two leaders also exchanged views on Pakistan–Türkiye bilateral relations, issues of mutual interest, and key regional and international developments, reaffirming their commitment to continued coordination and cooperation.
