Israeli Health Ministry Confirms 13 Dead, 112 Seriously Injured
Israel’s Ministry of Health has confirmed that since the outbreak of conflict with Iran, more than 1,900 people have been admitted to hospitals across the country.

According to the ministry, 157 injured individuals were brought to hospitals in the past 24 hours. The ministry also confirmed 13 deaths, noting that 112 of the injured remain hospitalized in serious condition.

Israeli rescue services reported that six people were wounded in a recent Iranian missile strike on the capital, Tel Aviv. Police officials stated that missile debris was reported at more than a dozen locations across central Israel. Initial assessments suggest that the Iranian ballistic missile may have been equipped with a cluster warhead.

In a separate incident in southern Lebanon, two Israeli soldiers were killed in an attack by the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah. The Israeli military confirmed that one of the soldiers was Sergeant First Class Maher Khattar, while the name of the second soldier will be released later.

Israeli media reported that the incident occurred near a military post in southern Lebanon, close to the Israeli border settlement of Manara. Initial military investigations indicate that during the operation to extract one Puma armored vehicle, the army deployed another Puma vehicle and two D9 armored bulldozers.

One of the bulldozers was hit by a projectile, likely an anti-tank missile or mortar, causing a fire that resulted in the deaths of both soldiers. A military officer was also slightly injured in the incident.
