Khamenei Accuses CIA and Mossad of Fueling Unrest, Praises Public Unity

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has described the recent unrest in the country as a conspiracy orchestrated by the United States and Israel, asserting that the plot was ultimately foiled by the Iranian nation.

In a statement released on social media, Ayatollah Khamenei said the allegation of foreign planning was not merely an accusation, arguing that statements by the US president themselves served as clear evidence. He cited remarks in which the American president allegedly addressed the rioters, saying, “Move forward, I am coming to help.”

The Supreme Leader stated that the recent disturbances amounted to an attempted rebellion that was being directed from abroad. He claimed that the CIA and Israel’s Mossad deployed all available resources to incite the uprising but failed in their objectives.

Ayatollah Khamenei said Iran’s confrontation with what he described as global aggressive powers made it incorrect to assume that the recent unrest would be the last of its kind. He warned that such efforts would continue until Iran’s adversaries were fully discouraged.

He added that the Iranian nation would ultimately succeed in this mission.

Addressing the role of traders and shopkeepers, the Supreme Leader acknowledged that some of their demands were legitimate. However, he said violent elements sought to turn peaceful protests into unrest. Once shopkeepers realized the situation, he said, they distanced themselves from the rioters.

Ayatollah Khamenei concluded that the awareness and unity of the Iranian people had defeated the alleged conspiracy, proving that Iran’s enemies could not succeed in achieving their goals under any circumstances.
