Al-Anqari added that the organization’s initiatives are also focused on improving the quality of life of disadvantaged groups through long-term development strategies and community support programs.
The foundation draws inspiration from the humanitarian vision of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, whose legacy emphasized strengthening charitable work and serving communities through structured and sustainable initiatives.
Since its establishment, the King Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation has continued to implement humanitarian and development programs both within Saudi Arabia and internationally. Through its various initiatives and projects, the foundation has reached more than 42 million beneficiaries across 17 countries.

These efforts have included a wide range of humanitarian, development, and community-focused programs designed to support vulnerable populations, enhance living standards, and expand access to essential services.
The Ehsan charitable platform, which facilitated the foundation’s donation, has become one of the Kingdom’s most prominent digital tools for charitable giving. The platform was created to enhance transparency and efficiency in charitable donations while enabling individuals and institutions to contribute easily to verified humanitarian causes.

Officials reported that the Ehsan platform raised more than SR4.5 billion for charitable initiatives during 2025 alone. Over the past five years, more than 330 million donations have been made through the platform, with the total value of contributions reaching approximately SR14 billion.
In addition to Ehsan, Saudi Arabia has also expanded digital charity initiatives through other platforms designed to address specific social needs. One such initiative is the Jood Eskan platform, which focuses on helping low-income families secure adequate housing.

Since its launch in 2019, the Jood Eskan platform has raised nearly SR5 billion through contributions from around 4.5 million donors. The initiative has played a significant role in supporting housing solutions for financially vulnerable families across the Kingdom.
The platform utilizes advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence technologies to verify the eligibility of beneficiaries and prevent duplication of support. According to officials, this digital verification system ensures transparency and efficiency in distributing charitable assistance.
Donors using the platform can also complete their contributions quickly, with transactions taking less than five seconds, making it easier for individuals and organizations to participate in charitable initiatives during Ramadan and throughout the year.
