Minister Tarar Visits Veteran Journalist Shehbaz Rana, Praises His Service

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar on Monday visited senior journalist Shehbaz Rana to inquire about his health and convey his best wishes for a speedy recovery.

During the visit, the minister expressed concern over Rana’s condition and offered prayers for his early recuperation, highlighting the importance of supporting media professionals during times of illness.

Acknowledging Rana’s significant contributions to journalism, Tarar described him as a respected voice in the field and lauded his years of dedicated service. He emphasized that journalists serve as the eyes and voice of society, and it is the responsibility of the government to stand by them.

Principal Information Officer Mobashir Hassan accompanied the minister during the visit.
