Naseem Shah Becomes Most Expensive Player in PSL 11 Auction

The auction ceremony for the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) was held in Lahore, drawing strong interest from franchises ahead of the upcoming season.

Fast bowler Naseem Shah emerged as the most expensive player of the auction after being picked up by new franchise Rawalpindi for Rs865 million. He topped the list of high-value signings at the event.

All-rounder Faheem Ashraf was the second most expensive acquisition, with Islamabad United securing his services for Rs850 million. New Zealand batter Daryl Mitchell was also among the top signings, joining Rawalpindi for Rs805 million.

Lahore Qalandars signed Fakhar Zaman for Rs795 million, while Karachi Kings acquired Australian star David Warner for Rs790 million. Fast bowler Haris Rauf returned to Lahore Qalandars after being bought for Rs760 million.

Islamabad United added Mark Chapman to their squad for Rs700 million. Quetta Gladiators secured Khawaja Nafay for Rs650 million, while Pakistan T20 captain Salman Ali Agha joined Karachi Kings for Rs585 million.

Sialkot Stallions picked up Sahibzada Farhan for Rs570 million, and Lahore Qalandars further strengthened their lineup by signing Usama Mir for Rs350 million.
