Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi Holds 86th National Day Ceremony
Abu Dhabi: The Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi organized a flag-hoisting ceremony today to commemorate the 86th Pakistan National Day, celebrating the occasion with national zeal and patriotic fervor.
Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan Hoists Flag on Pakistan Day
The event began with the hoisting of the national flag by Shafqat Ali Khan, accompanied by the rendition of the Pakistan National Anthem. Messages from the President, Prime Minister, and Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister were also read to the attendees, highlighting the significance of Pakistan Day.
Addressing the gathering, Ambassador Khan recalled the long struggle and sacrifices of Muslims of the Subcontinent that led to the creation of Pakistan. He stressed the importance of unity, tolerance, and harmony in overcoming present challenges and building a prosperous and stable nation.
The ambassador reaffirmed Pakistan’s principled stance on the right to self-determination for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, reiterating the country’s diplomatic and moral support for their cause.

UAE-Pakistan Ties Highlighted at Diplomatic Celebration
Highlighting the robust bilateral relations between Pakistan and United Arab Emirates, Ambassador Khan expressed gratitude to the UAE government and people for their hospitality and support extended to the Pakistani community. He lauded the contributions of expatriates to the UAE’s progress and prosperity, while urging them to respect local laws, customs, and comply with the guidance issued by authorities amid evolving circumstances.
