Pakistan Parliamentary Delegation Arrives at UN for IPU Hearing
A Pakistan parliamentary delegation led by Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has arrived at the United Nations headquarters in New York to participate in the 2026 IPU Parliamentary Hearing.
The six-member delegation will attend various sessions of the hearing over two days on February 12 and 13 at the UN headquarters.
Chairman Senate is scheduled to deliver Pakistan’s national statement during the inaugural session on the theme “The UN at 80: Renewing trust and purpose through cooperation and partnership.”
On the sidelines of the Annual Parliamentary Hearing, the Chairman Senate will also hold meetings with the President of the UN General Assembly and the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
