Sources indicated that the final decision on Pakistan’s participation or non-participation in the World Cup will be made by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. Consultations at both the Pakistan Cricket Board and government levels are ongoing, and an official announcement on the national team’s future course of action is expected soon.
