PM Directs Effective Handling of Islamabad Security

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday met Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Lahore, where the country’s overall security situation came under discussion.

During the meeting, the interior minister briefed the prime minister on the prevailing law and order and security environment across the country. A detailed briefing was also given on the current overall and security situation in Islamabad.

The prime minister directed the interior minister to address security-related matters and other issues in Islamabad in an effective and efficient manner.

It was also shared during the meeting that Mohsin Naqvi will soon visit Sri Lanka, where he will convey a special message from the prime minister to the Sri Lankan president.
