PM Shehbaz Sharif Urges Frugality To Stabilize Economy

Frugality Policy Won’t Affect Industry Or Agriculture Sectors
The Prime Minister chaired a meeting on economic stability, reviewing multiple proposals and recommendations on efficiency and austerity. Detailed briefings were provided on global tensions and potential economic impacts.
The briefing noted that regional developments could affect energy supplies and cause fluctuations in global markets. However, adequate stocks of petrol, diesel, and other petroleum products are available in the country.

PM Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that timely economic measures are essential under current global conditions. The government will take all possible steps to protect public interests and maintain economic stability.
He directed ministers and officials to ensure public relief, effective use of resources, simplicity, and frugality. He stressed the importance of wise use of national resources during challenging economic conditions.
