President Zardari’s UAE Visit to Focus on Trade, Security and Economic Partnership

President Asif Ali Zardari has arrived in Abu Dhabi on a four-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates, scheduled to continue until January 29.

He was received at the Presidential Flight Terminal of Zayed International Airport by UAE Minister of Justice Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi. President Zardari was accompanied by First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Shafqat Ali Khan, was also present at the استقبال.

During the visit, President Zardari is expected to hold meetings with the UAE leadership to review the full spectrum of bilateral relations. The discussions will cover key areas including trade, economic cooperation, defence, security collaboration, and the strengthening of people-to-people ties.

The visit is being described as a reflection of the longstanding brotherly relations and strategic partnership between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, underscoring the shared commitment of both countries to deepening cooperation across multiple sectors.
