Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Attend World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will lead a high-level Pakistani delegation to the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, from January 20 to 22, 2026. The visit comes as global leaders gather to discuss pressing geopolitical and economic challenges.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar will accompany the Prime Minister during the three-day visit, along with other senior officials, reflecting the importance Pakistan attaches to the forum.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister is scheduled to participate in the Informal Gathering of World Economic Leaders session titled “Restoring a Spirit of Dialogue in a Divided World,” focusing on rebuilding cooperation at the global level.
A key engagement of the visit will be a Pakistan-specific high-level business roundtable, which the Prime Minister will host and chair with leading international corporate figures.
On the sidelines of the forum, the Prime Minister is expected to interact with several world leaders and business executives, providing opportunities for exchanges on regional and global developments.
Throughout the visit, the Prime Minister will articulate Pakistan’s perspective on global and regional peace while highlighting the government’s vision, achievements and opportunities in the areas of economy, trade and investment.
