Islamabad :Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has been recognized as the best fixed network in Pakistan, while Transworld emerged as the fastest fixed internet service provider during the second half of 2025, according to the Ookla® Speedtest Connectivity Report.
PTCL’s Flash Fiber service earned the title of Best Fixed Network in the country, achieving a Speedtest Connectivity Score of 61.73 based on Speedtest Intelligence® data. The recognition underscores PTCL’s continued focus on network reliability, fiber expansion, and customer-centric services.
Transworld, meanwhile, recorded the highest speeds in the country with a median download speed of 34.86 Mbps and a median upload speed of 30.5 Mbps during 2H 2025, showcasing its performance-driven infrastructure and commitment to high-speed connectivity.
Industry analysts say the dual achievements highlight the growing competitiveness of Pakistan’s broadband sector, where PTCL dominates in overall network reliability and coverage, while emerging ISPs like Transworld push the envelope in speed performance.
