Russia has become the first country to send humanitarian assistance to Iran during the ongoing conflict, delivering a shipment of medical supplies intended to support Iranian authorities as regional tensions continue to rise.

According to a statement shared on social media by the Russian Embassy in Kenya, a Russian Il-76 cargo aircraft transported more than 13 tons of humanitarian aid, primarily consisting of medical supplies and medicines.
