Salman Ali Agha’s 76 Powers Pakistan to 198 Against Australia

Pakistan set Australia a target of 199 runs in the second match of the three-match T20 series at Gaddafi Stadium on Saturday.

Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha won the toss and opted to bat first. The hosts posted 198 runs for the loss of five wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

Pakistan’s start was shaky as Sahibzada Farhan was dismissed for five runs, while Saim Ayub scored 23 and Babar Azam departed cheaply for just two runs.

With early wickets falling, Salman Ali Agha anchored the innings with a responsible yet aggressive knock, scoring 76 runs off 40 balls. He was well supported by Usman Khan, who struck 53 runs off 36 deliveries before being dismissed.

Lower down the order, Shadab Khan contributed 28 runs, while Mohammad Nawaz remained unbeaten on nine.

For the second T20, Pakistan made three changes to their playing XI, bringing in Usman Tariq, Faheem Ashraf, and Naseem Shah, while Shaheen Shah Afridi, Salman Mirza, and Fakhar Zaman were rested.

Pakistan currently lead the three-match T20 series 1-0, having defeated Australia by 26 runs in the opening match.
