Saudi Arabia Condemns Alleged Iranian Violations

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia on Friday strongly condemned what it described as Iranian violations of the autonomy and sovereignty of several Gulf and regional states, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In its official statement, the ministry denounced what it termed a “flagrant” infringement of the sovereignty of the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan.

Riyadh Voices Solidarity With Gulf States

The Kingdom expressed full solidarity with the governments and peoples of those countries and affirmed its support for any measures they may take to safeguard their security and sovereignty.

Saudi Arabia warned of the serious consequences of continued violations of state autonomy and breaches of international law. The statement emphasized that such actions pose a direct threat to regional security and stability and risk further escalation at a sensitive time for the Middle East.

Foreign Ministry Warns of Regional Consequences

The ministry reiterated Riyadh’s longstanding position on the importance of respecting national sovereignty, non-interference in internal affairs, and adherence to international law and norms governing relations between states.

The Kingdom also called on the international community to condemn what it described as Iranian actions and to take firm steps to confront violations that undermine peace and stability in the region.
