Second Round of Iran–US Nuclear Talks Concludes in Geneva

The second round of nuclear talks between Iran and the United States concluded in Geneva after nearly three and a half hours of consultations.

During the second round, detailed discussions were held on Iran’s nuclear programme, with both sides reviewing various aspects of the issue.

Speaking to journalists after the conclusion of the talks, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said the latest round showed better progress compared to the first round of negotiations.

He noted that although the second round of talks took place on the same day, a constructive discussion had also been held earlier on technical aspects with Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Araghchi added that he also exchanged views with the Foreign Minister of Oman, following which he met with the American delegation.
