Shehbaz–Pezeshkian Call Focuses on Regional Stability

Islamabad : Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Thursday, during which both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation within the existing framework of Pakistan–Iran relations.

During the call, the two leaders exchanged views on the evolving regional situation, emphasizing the importance of sustained dialogue, diplomatic engagement, and constructive consultations to promote peace, security, and development across the region.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif underlined that durable peace and regional stability can only be achieved through continuous negotiations and diplomacy, stressing the need for peaceful engagement in addressing emerging challenges.

Both leaders reiterated their resolve to further enhance cooperation across bilateral domains and reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining high-level contacts and consultations through established institutional mechanisms, ensuring continuity and depth in Pakistan–Iran relations.
