Trump References Indo-Pak Conflict, Says 10 Aircraft Were Downed
U.S President Donald Trump has once again referred to a potential conflict between Pakistan and India, claiming that ten aircraft had been downed during the confrontation.
In an interview with American media, Trump also discussed Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs, stating that Iran would be “foolish” not to reach an agreement with the United States.
Reflecting on the Indo-Pak conflict, Trump said that both countries were on the brink of a nuclear war. He added that the fight between Pakistan and India could have escalated into a full-scale nuclear confrontation, but tariffs and diplomatic measures helped prevent a broader war.
Trump further commented that, in his view, the conflict had been intense, indicating that the two sides were engaged in serious hostilities.
