Türkiye Agrees to Join International Stabilization Force for Gaza
DAVOS : Türkiye has agreed to join the International Stabilization Force to support peace and stability in Gaza, signaling a stronger role in efforts to implement the Gaza peace agreement.
Speaking in Davos, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said Türkiye would play every possible role in ensuring the implementation of the Gaza peace deal.
He stated that Türkiye is ready to become part of the International Stabilization Force aimed at promoting peace and stability in Gaza.
The foreign minister also said that following Türkiye’s inclusion in the Gaza Peace Board, work is now underway regarding the formation and functioning of its executive committee.
Fidan added that Türkiye’s humanitarian and relief activities for the people of Gaza would continue.
