US Approves $9 Billion Sale of Patriot Missiles to Saudi Arabia
The United States has approved the sale of Patriot missiles to Saudi Arabia, with the total value of the deal estimated at approximately $9 billion, officials said.
The Pentagon confirmed that Saudi Arabia will receive advanced capability missiles and related equipment under the agreement, further strengthening the kingdom’s defense systems.
Earlier, the United States had also approved a $6.5 billion military sale to Israel. According to a statement from the US Department of State, the equipment provided to Israel includes $3.8 billion in Apache helicopters and $1.98 billion in light vehicles.
In addition, Israel will receive Namer armored personnel carriers, power packs, logistic support, and other military equipment, further bolstering its defense capabilities in the region.
