US Central Command Reports Strikes on Nearly 200 Iranian Targets
The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that nearly 200 Iranian targets have been struck during military operations carried out over the past 72 hours. The announcement was made during a briefing by CENTCOM Commander Admiral Brad Cooper, who provided details about the scale and objectives of the strikes.
Iranian Missile Attacks Drop Sharply After Initial Strikes
According to Admiral Cooper, the attacks were conducted as part of a coordinated campaign targeting key Iranian military assets. He stated that B-2 stealth bombers played a major role in the operation, deploying dozens of bunker-buster bombs against deeply buried ballistic missile launchers. These launchers, which were located underground and heavily fortified, were specifically targeted to limit Iran’s missile launch capabilities.

The CENTCOM commander explained that the bunker-buster munitions used in the operation were designed to penetrate hardened underground facilities before detonating. He said the strikes successfully destroyed a number of deeply buried ballistic missile launch systems that were considered critical components of Iran’s military infrastructure.
Next Phase to Target Iran’s Missile Production Capability
Admiral Cooper also reported a significant decline in Iranian ballistic missile activity following the initial phase of the operation. According to the CENTCOM assessment, ballistic missile attacks launched by Iran have dropped by approximately 90 percent since the first day of the strikes. He described this reduction as a key indicator of the operation’s immediate operational impact.

In addition to the aerial strikes, the CENTCOM commander claimed that more than 30 Iranian naval vessels have been sunk during the course of the ongoing operation. The statement indicated that maritime engagements were carried out as part of broader efforts to limit Iran’s operational capabilities across multiple military domains.
CENTCOM said the strikes were carried out with the objective of weakening Iran’s military infrastructure and reducing its ability to conduct missile attacks. Officials stated that targeting missile systems and related facilities was a central component of the operational strategy.

During the briefing, Admiral Cooper outlined plans for the next phase of the operation. He said that upcoming actions will focus specifically on destroying Iran’s missile production capacity. The objective, according to CENTCOM, is to prevent the rebuilding or replenishment of missile stockpiles that could be used in future attacks.

CENTCOM emphasized that the ongoing operations are aimed at limiting Iran’s military and defense capabilities. According to the command, reducing these capabilities is intended to mitigate potential threats that could arise in the future.

The briefing did not provide further details regarding the precise locations of the targeted sites or the timing of future operations. However, CENTCOM reiterated that the campaign remains focused on military objectives tied to Iran’s missile and defense infrastructure.

Officials stated that the strikes conducted so far represent a coordinated effort to disrupt Iran’s strategic assets and restrict its capacity to conduct ballistic missile operations. They also noted that assessments of the damage caused by the strikes are continuing as the operation progresses.
CENTCOM concluded that the campaign is part of broader measures intended to limit Iran’s military capabilities and reduce risks associated with potential future threats.
