US Envoy Natalie Baker Attends Basant Festivities at Delhi Gate
Lahore: Foreign diplomats and prominent figures from Pakistan’s showbiz industry joined residents of Lahore in celebrating the vibrant festival of Basant, adding international and celebrity presence to the festivities.
US Embassy Deputy Chief Mission Natalie A. Baker arrived at Delhi Gate, Lahore, to take part in the Basant celebrations. Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari received the visiting diplomat, while Senior Punjab Minister Maryam Aurangzeb and Provincial Minister Sohaib Bharth were also present on the occasion. Natalie Baker expressed her appreciation to the Punjab government for allowing the celebration of Basant.
Several well-known personalities from the entertainment industry also participated in the festivities, including actors Yasir Hussain, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Adeel, Mohib Mirza, and actresses Juggan Kazim, Faryal Khan, Gauhar, Aamna, along with Ali Zarghoon.
The participation of diplomats and celebrities alongside citizens highlighted the cultural significance of Basant and reflected Lahore’s festive spirit.
