Pakistan, UK Agree to Strengthen Youth Linkages During London Meeting
London: Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Dr. Mohammad Faisal, met Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP), Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, at the Pakistan High Commission in London, where both sides agreed to further strengthen bilateral ties through enhanced youth engagement.
During the meeting, discussions focused on creating employment opportunities for young people, organizing an Overseas Pakistani Youth Convention, and expanding youth engagement initiatives. The two leaders emphasized that stronger people-to-people and youth-to-youth connections would add a new dimension to Pakistan–UK relations.
Chairman PMYP Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan appreciated the efforts of the High Commissioner and the Pakistan High Commission team for facilitating meetings with UK-based youth representative organizations. He noted that such engagements would effectively support and expand the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme agenda overseas.
Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan is currently on an official visit to the United Kingdom. His engagements include meetings with the Commonwealth Secretariat, British Esports, UK-based youth organizations, and the UK–Pakistan Trade and Investment Board, as well as interactions with members of the Pakistani youth diaspora studying at leading UK universities.
