Experts from more than 50 international and local organizations working in education, employment and artificial intelligence will gather in Riyadh on Jan. 28–29 for the International Conference on Data and AI Capacity Building, focusing on the future of education amid rapid advances in AI.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, discussions at the conference will examine how artificial intelligence is reshaping the world of work, its impact on current and future generations, and the new opportunities emerging from these technological shifts.
Organized by the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA), the conference aims to rethink work and human capacity development in order to meet the evolving demands of future labor markets.
Participants will present practical solutions to equip young people with AI-related skills, integrate artificial intelligence into educational systems, and align learning outcomes with the most in-demand skills at both local and global levels.
By addressing the changing influence of AI on the job market, the conference will provide a platform for academics, AI and data specialists, policymakers and students to exchange insights and explore the latest innovations for social impact and national development.
An accompanying exhibition will showcase advanced educational and digital transformation solutions from both public and private sector organizations.
The exhibition will also offer young people direct access to educational, training, career and technological opportunities, while allowing them to learn from leading local and international experiences to help shape their future career paths.
