Deputy PM Directs Ministries to Ensure Implementation of Rs117B Projects

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired the ECNEC meeting on Thursday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, approving key development projects worth over Rs117 billion, an international media report said.

The approved projects include the extension of the Sehat Sahulat Program up to July 30, 2026, along with major initiatives in energy, infrastructure, and transportation aimed at promoting socio-economic development and improving public service delivery.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister directed relevant ministries to ensure proper planning, effective implementation, and long-term sustainability of these initiatives.

The meeting was attended by the Finance Minister, SAPM Tariq Bajwa, Sindh Minister for Planning, Development and Irrigation, secretaries of the Cabinet, Health, Communications, and Planning ministries, as well as senior officials from other concerned departments.
