Parliament to Convene Joint Session Tomorrow to Consider Key Bills
ISLAMABAD; A joint session of Pakistan’s Parliament is scheduled for tomorrow at 11 a.m., with a seven-point agenda that includes the passage of key legislation.
Federal Minister for Law, Senator Azam Nazir Tarar, will present the National Commission for Human Rights (Amendment) Bill, 2025 for approval. The bill had previously been returned by the President after being passed by both the National Assembly and the Senate.
Federal Minister for Federal Education, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, will introduce the Daanish Schools Authority Bill, 2025, which had also been returned by the President following approval by both houses.
Dr. Sharmeela Farooqi will present the Domestic Violence (Prevention and Protection) Bill, 2025 for consideration and approval.
The session is expected to focus on advancing these important legislative measures.
