Oman : Three French tourists drowned in Oman after the boat they were on capsized near the capital, Muscat, authorities said Tuesday.
The Royal Oman Police reported that the vessel was carrying 25 French tourists, along with a tour guide and a boat captain, when it overturned in the Gulf of Oman. Three tourists lost their lives, while two others sustained minor injuries.
A brief statement from the police confirmed that investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
