Tarar Confirms PTI Founder’s Completely Healthy After Minor Procedure

Islamabad : Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar on Thursday dismissed social media reports suggesting serious illness, affirming that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder remains in good health.

Speaking to media, Tarar said medical eye specialists had examined the PTI founder at Adiala Jail and later recommended a minor procedure at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).

With written consent, the brief procedure, lasting around 20 minutes, was carried out on Saturday night. The PTI founder remained stable throughout and was declared healthy by attending doctors. He was subsequently returned to Adiala Jail with standard medical instructions.

Tarar emphasized that all inmates are provided access to medical care under jail regulations, and that the procedure was conducted strictly on medical advice and with the PTI founder’s consent.
