Ishaq Dar Meets Azerbaijani Presidential Representative in Islamabad
Islamabad : Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar received the Representative of the President of Azerbaijan on Special Assignments, H.E. Mr. Khalaf Khalafov, in Islamabad today.
During the meeting, Mr. Khalafov briefed the deputy prime minister on ongoing and upcoming initiatives under Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).
DPM/FM reaffirmed Pakistan’s full support for Azerbaijan’s leadership role in CICA and its efforts to promote regional cooperation and mutual understanding.
The two sides also discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries, exploring opportunities for enhanced diplomatic, economic, and strategic engagement.
