Ishaq Dar Meets UNESCO DG Khalid El-Enany, Pledges Cooperation

Islamabad – Director-General of UNESCO, Dr. Khalid El-Enany, met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday, marking his first bilateral visit since taking office.

During the meeting, DPM/FM Dar congratulated Dr. El-Enany on his election as UNESCO Director-General and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to working closely with UNESCO to advance its global goals. He emphasized Pakistan’s support for UNESCO initiatives and the importance of continued collaboration in education, culture, and multilateral engagement.
