Ishaq Dar, Indonesian Investment Minister Discuss Strengthening Economic Ties

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday received Indonesian Minister for Investment and Downstream Industry, Mr. Rosan Roeslani, who also serves as Chief Executive Officer of Indonesia’s Sovereign Wealth Fund, Danantara, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The meeting focused on further strengthening bilateral economic and investment relations between Pakistan and Indonesia. Both sides reviewed a range of potential collaboration opportunities and discussed prospects for mutually beneficial projects across priority sectors.

Discussions also included an exchange of views on sovereign wealth fund models, reflecting shared interest in best practices for investment management and long-term economic development. Trade and investment were reaffirmed as a central pillar of Pakistan-Indonesia bilateral cooperation.

The engagement underscored the two countries’ commitment to expanding economic partnerships and exploring new avenues for investment-driven growth.
