PAF Presents JF-17 Block-III, Super Mushshak at World Defence Show 2026
The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is participating in the World Defence Show 2026 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, presenting its advanced JF-17 Thunder Block-III multi-role fighter jet alongside the Super Mushshak basic trainer aircraft.
World Defence Show 2026 is regarded as a leading global platform for defence and security engagement. PAF’s participation highlights Pakistan’s growing profile as an emerging centre of aerospace innovation, operational capability and dependable defence solutions.

The exhibition provides an opportunity for PAF to demonstrate Pakistan’s rapidly advancing indigenous aerospace sector and its proven operational excellence. The JF-17 Thunder Block-III, described as the most advanced variant of the platform, features state-of-the-art avionics, an advanced Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar, an enhanced electronic warfare suite and beyond-visual-range combat capability. These features position the aircraft as a competitive 4.5-generation fighter designed to meet the operational requirements of modern air forces.

Alongside the JF-17 Block-III, the Super Mushshak trainer aircraft is also on display, underscoring Pakistan’s strength in pilot training solutions. Known for its reliability, cost-effectiveness and ease of maintenance, the Super Mushshak has been inducted by several friendly countries and continues to serve as a benchmark platform for basic flying training worldwide.

PAF’s presence at WDS-2026 reflects the leadership’s vision to enhance defence cooperation, promote defence exports and strengthen strategic partnerships with friendly nations. The event offers international delegations, defence officials and defence industry leaders an opportunity to engage with PAF representatives and explore prospects for collaboration, training initiatives and technology transfer.
