Acting Senate Chairman Inaugurates Safe Secure Pakistan and POGEE 2026 Exhibitions
ISLAMABAD : Acting Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, Syedal Khan, inaugurated the 16th International Fire, Safety, Security & Power/Energy Exhibition “Safe Secure Pakistan” and the 19th International Power & Energy Industry Exhibition “POGEE Pakistan 2026” at the Pak-China Friendship Centre. The exhibitions will run from February 10 to 12, 2026.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Syedal Khan emphasized that security is no longer the responsibility of a single institution or sector but has become a fundamental national necessity. He noted that Pakistan faces persistent security challenges, making modern, technology-driven security and firefighting equipment indispensable.
The Acting Chairman said exhibitions like Safe Secure Pakistan not only strengthen the security sector but also support the country’s economic and industrial growth. He highlighted the role of participating companies in introducing sustainable solutions in firefighting, workplace safety, emergency response, surveillance, and the energy sector.
The exhibitions showcased advanced technologies, including state-of-the-art surveillance systems, firefighting equipment, bulletproof solutions, and security cameras. Syedal Khan noted that modern security cameras now serve as crime prevention tools beyond mere recording, and stressed the importance of bulletproof vehicles in today’s security environment. He also warned that neglecting effective firefighting systems could result in substantial human and financial losses.
During the event, the Acting Chairman visited various exhibition stalls, received briefings on the latest technologies, and assured full cooperation to stakeholders. He appreciated the efforts of organizing companies and reaffirmed support for innovative initiatives in the security and energy sectors, stressing the collective goal of building a safe, strong, and stable Pakistan.
Syedal Khan concluded by thanking organizers, national and international participants, and distinguished guests, extending his best wishes for Pakistan’s security, development, and prosperity.
