Pakistan, UAE Leaders Review Cooperation in Telephone Conversation
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday held a telephone conversation with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi.
During the warm and cordial exchange, the two leaders fondly recalled their recent meetings in Islamabad and Rahim Yar Khan last month, which took place during the UAE president’s first official visit to Pakistan.
The prime minister lauded the UAE’s consistent and unwavering support to Pakistan, saying it had helped the country navigate difficult challenges. He described this support as a manifestation of the historic and fraternal bonds between the leadership and people of both countries.
Both leaders reaffirmed their shared desire to further enhance mutually beneficial cooperation between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates. They also exchanged views on other matters of mutual interest and agreed to remain in close contact.
